Meet Claire

Naturaopthic Doctor

About Me

I have always had a passion for health and wellness. I am so lucky that every day I get to help others work toward their health and wellness goals.

My journey to health and wellness started many years ago. I know that there is so much information out there, it can often seem daunting and overwhelming.

I believe in a simple approach to health, going back to the basics, and focusing on the root cause. I believe that a healthy lifestyle is  key to wellness. This includes diet, exercise, stress management, emotional health, sleep and so much more.

Special Interests

Although I treat a range of concerns, I have a special interest in metabolic health, weight management, immune health, and nutrition. Metabolic dysfunction can lead to a number of issues including insulin resistance, weight gain, fatigue, brain fog, thyroid dysfunction, poor immune health, and sleep disturbances.

I address concerns at the root of the cause, focusing on bringing the body back into alignment. I assess and treat both physical and emotional health. By focusing on the pillars of health including nutrition, exercise, social interaction, stress management, and sleep we can work to bring the body back into balance.

Over the years I have built a passion for cooking. I know that nourishing, home-cooked food is key for optimal health. I love working with my patient to develop sustainable, nourishing and enjoyable meal plans that work with their lifestyle.

My Education

I received my undergraduate degree from the Univerity of Arizona where I majored in psychology with a minor in nutrition. I also competed on the varsity swim team all 4 years of my undergrad.

After graduation, I moved back to my hometown of Toronto to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

I am a licensed Naturopathic doctor in the province of Ontario. I am also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors
